I didn't realize how much turmoil went on in the Old Testament. As I follow along in 2Samuel I am reading about rape, murder, sexual immorality, betrayl and deceit. This was a very dark time for mankind. And it seems like everyone had their own hidden agenda, but it never worked out in the end. So as I reflect on that, I realize that if we have our own hidden agendas that are not Godly and decietful to others then we will not be successful.
